PELOSI CAT FIGHT
written by A Hillary Loyalist
There has been a subtle catfight going on since the primary season began. The catfight is between Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton. Both of these women enjoy being at the top. Pelosi made a power hurdle to the highest ranking woman in the line of the Presidency to the position of "Speaker of the House". Pelosi has been very vocal trying to demonstrate her strength in the Democratic Party. She has sucessfully helped Obama divide this party. Real Clear politics stated back on Dec 21,2007 The problem for Clinton is Pelosi and her committee chairmen who are some of the most out-of-the-mainstream libs in the land." This falls in line with the most liberal man in the Senate Obama. Pelosi swore she was remaining uncommitted through the long Primary race but she tried to give Hillary the boot. The Dummycrats wanted Hillary out as early as Febuary so they would not have so many Democrats discovering their lack of wisdom of selecting Obama. It was so obviously biased that Clinton donners threatened to never give the Democratic Party any Money again. Pelosi tried to back off. In the end she made these statements reported by the San Fransico Chronicle "The American people have to know the Democratic Party can run its own delegate selection process ... if they want to govern America," Pelosi said Friday. "Instead of talking about process," Democrats now need to "talk about how we have a progressive economic agenda. ... That's what the American people want to hear about," she said. "That's how we can take America in a new direction." The catch phrase here is new direction and progressive agenda......those key phrase told America she was in the tank for Liberal Lovin Obama.
One then had to wonder will Pelosi and her cronies fix the outcome of Florida and Michigan to benefit Obama? She went further to say "Depending on how the rules committee decides to penalize Florida and Michigan, Obama could end up as early as Tuesday with the number of delegates required to clinch the party's presidential nomination."
Pelosi then pointedly warned Clinton supporters, some of whom are threatening to take the delegate fight as far as the Democratic National Convention, that such a strategy could seriously damage the chances of electing a Democrat to the White House in November. "There is too much at stake in our country for us to be thinking that we can afford the luxury of intraparty battles eight weeks before the election," Pelosi said in her strongest words yet on the tussle over seating the Florida and Michigan delegates. "We've had many months to have a debate, to come to a conclusion. And one way or another ... we have to come together." (I don't believe that will ever happen).
"This is the democratic process ... we take it one step at a time. This weekend the (party's) rules committee will act," she said. Then, "there will be some movement of the superdelegates after that ... and we'll make a judgment at that time on what is needed."
Pelosi endorsed Obama as we all expected her to do. Hillary Loyalist are questioning why Pelosi would select Obama over Clinton when clearly Obama has a lot of unelectable factors hanging around his neck. Pelosi spoke to NBC on June 4, 2008 saying she House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is giving Clinton rhetorical space today, telling reporters (off camera) that, "This is difficult" for the senator and that "people have to move on in their own." I am so sorry but that statement strikes me as sounding alittle like a pat on the back with a wicked victory smile plastered across her face since the comment was off the record.
Now that the Dummycrats need Clinton Supporters Money and votes she is stating this about Hillary Clinton “[W]omen are wildly enthusiastic about her candidacy. Not just a woman but this woman, this talent, this intellect, stamina,” she said. She could have made these kind of statements publicly months ago to encourage PARTY UNITY not after she has dogged the thought that Hillary Loyalist would cross party lines and vote for John McCain over the Golden Boy Obama.
On the subject of Unity Obama and Clinton held a joint fundraiser in Washington DC. Obama likes to promote this as being a gracious winner to help Hillary Clinton pay down her campaign debts but in truth he needs her to try to woo her loyalists and their money for the Big Show Down with McCain. It has been reported that DNC is not getting enough donations for Deans Grand 57 state Convention in Denver. Sounds to me more like Dean, Pelosi and Obama need THE CLINTONS. Today Pelosi tried to continue to sugar up the Hillary Loyalists by saying ""I think her candidacy was a bright bright moment for us and she may run again." Obama and Clinton shared a stare that some describe as unnerving last night when the subject of the Convention was brought out for conversation.
"Many Clinton donors are anxious to hear more about Clinton's future role in Obama's campaign, at the Democratic convention in August and whether her delegates will be allowed any kind of symbolic vote on the convention floorThursday night if there would be a roll call vote at the convention in Denver, Clinton and Obama exchanged glances, with Clinton smiling, and said that was still being negotiated." Ihave one question why would Obama think we should support him with our money and our votes when he cannot even respect Clinton or her Loyalists with a Convention Roll call vote? I am sorry but Obama Dean and Pelosi but that is pathetic, do you not have any faith in your decision to push Obama down the Superdelegates throats? Is your golden boy to flawed by his own admissions?
